I'm using Across with a setup of Windows10_server + Android 6.0 HID-client. There are no issues on the Android side, but on Windows 10, the server mode of the program keeps randomly failing. The connection remains active, yet I can't switch to Android. I've noticed that the issue seems to stem from a conflict between the operating system and the hotkeys assigned by Across. Question about Python coding

Hi guys,
I am a computer scientist who uses Python alot. I have the following question:
Can I use across to control 2 of my PC's to run python at the same time?
Right now I use 2 seperate CPU's to run python indepently.
I was wondering if I could open python on one PC, and use across to link my PC's together so I can utilise both CPUs on the same code.

Tried using the install.sh script and got this

Is there any way to call a windows CMD or PS script on (mouse/keyboard) transition to a specific client (from the Server computer)? That would be very helpful in some cases.

Across config import/export or network pairing

Hi,

This is a feature request to make Across allow pairing on the network when bluetooth is not available (macOS). The app perfectly works without bluetooth on my already paired Mac with the client devices, but I need to move to a new macOS.

An alternative, perhaps simpler suggestion would be to be able to export and import the client layout/setting config, so the pairing process can be skipped. The broken bluetooth situation on macOS unnecessarily bottlenecks the app's usability on Macs.

Prerequsites
1. All program binaries are built in Ubuntu 16.04 (using the latest version of gcc, Qt, openssl, ffmpeg). You would need a Linux distro released after that version.
2. acrossd (across core program) works as a systemd service. Therefore systemd must be running on Linux.

It seems while the store happily collects money for MacOS licenses, it is well known here that this product does not work on MacOS for over 4 months.

Other companies have worked with Apple, and gotten their products to work, by making product changes.

You are welcome to blame Apple, but not while taking my money through false representation.

Across stopped working on Mac since MacOS Monterey but keeps blaming Apple for destroying the bluethooth stack...

As a paying user of across I have some sympathy for this problem but I would also expect it to be solved after some time.

But sadly no. I have waited and waited but new version after version keeps blaming Apple and still doesn't work with Mac... while the competitors does work ... so how can that be?

If Apple destroyed the bluetooth stack would not all Bluetooth...

I am able to use across to operate iOS devices. Now I want to control the mouse through programming. However, it looks like the Win32 API such as user32.dll is useless.
Does across provide its own API? Or is there any tool that can be programmed to manipulate a bluetooth mouse?

I'd like to use an iPhone as remote 4G/5G testing device mimicking this inspirational youtube video:

So I'm testing Across controlling the iPhone via BT and a screen mirroring via usb cable while wifi has to be off to not interfere with activating/deactivating 4G/5G radio signal.

The step I'm missing now is to control the laptop via Remote Desktop (RDP) or equivalent.
Apparently when I connected with RDP client I lose control of the...

I have 2 Windows 10 machines. The server has my pointer speeds ramped all the way up to maximum in the settings:
Mouse Properties > Pointer Options

The host machine has a 3440x1440 widescreen display. The client machine is a dual monitor setup. One laptop screen and one 3440x1440 monitor (set as primary).

In Across Center, in the Client Device Settings, bluetooth tab, I have "Relative Coordinate Mouse" selected. It is the only option that allows me to control the mouse across both...

here again with the same "Switch to Server Mode" grayed out issue....

The laptop (physical) I'm using has an embedded bluetooth device (Qualcomm Athereos BT 4.0) which is now disabled. There is a BT-USB-dongle which is listed as Realtek BT 5.0.

For a while the Across Center (2.22) was able to switch to server mode - so yes I saw this working once but due to revive the temporary license I tried to reinstall it.

Now you see that despite BT working fine with a phone connected the...

Hello,

I installed AcrossSetup_2_22 on a Win10 VM running on a ESXi host.
I've set a PCI passthrough to allow VM access the bluetooth device and it does work just fine.

The issue I see is that the "Switch to Server Mode" functionality appears to be grayed out.

I tried same Win10 VM running on a Fusion workstation environment and it works just fine so hypervisor should not be the issue here...

Any idea why the application can't allow to switch to server mode ?
Any log file I can inspect ?...

When I boot up my Mac I now receive notification of my account expiring and I have to clear the on screen message every day.

It's my understanding that my account will be renewed automatically each year.

What can I do to remedy this?
